Phoenix Grieving is a series of five canvases with each piece mirroring a different stage of grief. This series was created in an attempt to process and express the anguish of upheaval and unwelcomed major life transitions.

All canvases are 20x24 inches with three having a horizontal orientation and two having a vertical orientation. The five canvases comprising the Phoenix Grieving series are as follows:

1. Phoenix Sleeping (Denial)

2. Phoenix Burning (Anger)

3. Phoenix Resting (Sadness)

4. Phoenix Rising (Bargaining)

5. Phoenix Flying (Acceptance)
